Requirements
A successful Help Desk Technician will have the following:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or MIS/CIS) or relevant experience.
Must support deployment and enhancement activities for the IHS Mobility Android device(s).
Must learn build processes for the android device(s) to IHS field standards with all of the necessary applications needed in order for the IHS to perform their daily job functions.
This position requires night and weekend work, both scheduled and unscheduled.
Responsibilities
The Mobility Support Desk performs support for the IHS Smart Mobility solution.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
Document, assess, resolve and/or escalate issues as appropriate, involving DISH internal customer contact.
Throughout resolution process, provide status information and ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction.
Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other mobility-related technologies.
The Mobility Support technician will be trained with a broad range of technical skills to perform problem triage, and to achieve high customer service and satisfaction from our customers.
The candidate will learn Android Operating Systems, wireless technologies, GPS, Windows OS configurations and support, ticketing systems and web based application troubleshooting.
Remote manage Mobility Android device(s) and Windows PC's in order to resolve reported issues.
