YOUR ROLE:
This Software Development Engineer will work at the company's Charlotte robotic center as part of a dynamic Research & Development engineering team tasked with designing, developing, and managing software to support the future of robotic AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) technology. Your software will support the systems that analyze, design, and develop real-time control algorithms, sensor interfaces, serial interfaces, and other communication interfaces to robotic warehouse equipment. You will also have the ability to work closely with the hardware engineering team during the initial phase of hardware design and development.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
BS in Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent exp.)
5
years coding computational algorithms and embedded software using C / C++
3
years hardware integration and software debug
DOORS and Matlab experience a plus
DO-178 Experience a plus
AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) or Robotics experience a plus, but not requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
