_Summary_
Responsible for inside sales in support of our commercial business. The individual in this role will provide a key contact point for outside representatives and assist with job qualification, opportunity management, quoting, production/shipping coordination, and various administrative duties.
_Essential Duties and Responsibilities_
Generate project leads through targeted searches (REED, Dodge, Permits)
Provide initial qualification of leads, noting key information
Upload and maintain opportunity data in
Create reports for job tracking and bid follow-up
Prepare and deliver project and LEED submittals
Coordinate delivery of sample submittals
Handle quoting of commercial jobs
Enter orders into ERP(Lawson) Business system
Oversee scheduling and production of special orders to ensure accuracy
Assist with job site coordination
Handle freight rate requests for sales team
Inform sales reps of production schedule; coordinate shipping with sourcing plants when applicable
Coordinate mailings of literature and samples

_Requirements / Education / Experience_
High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education, experience or training in related field
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Previous sales experience preferred: Knowledge of concrete masonry is a plus
Have a positive attitude and desire to work with a great team in a fast-paced environment
Good with basic math
Solid organizational and problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multi task
Physical Environment
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and fingers to use a PC and keyboard
Bending and some lifting
Extensive writing
Extensive phone and radio use
Tasks can be very repetitive
Able to lift concrete products and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds from floor level to 4 feet high
Able to provide assistance to others in moving heavier or bulkier objects
Have good depth perception and color discrimination
