Our client, which is based in Canfield, Ohio is seeking a Process Engineer with a minimum of six years of experience to come into their company and contribute to the overall profitability of the company through their efforts and hard work. We are searching for the following:
General Requirements:
Compose technical specifications for equipment
Create requisition packages for procurement
Complete Process Engineering calculations using specific tools
Complete material and energy balances
Size and select process engineering components
Coordinate with purchasing to resolve technical issues
Coordinate with shop to resolve assembly/manufacturing issues
Coordinate with field services to resolve field issues
Provide technical direction to assigned designers
Design projects to budget
Estimate durations of work to be completed
Makes decisions independently as well as in a team environment
Develop budgets for projects
Review and check project manuals and documentation
Ensure timely feedback to product line management
Approves utility consumption requirements
Develop innovative ways to cut costs while defining process for a given project
Review new technologies/innovations in sales proposals
Responsible for developing and ensuring process engineering standards are maintained and executed
Quote hours for proposed projects
Lead/participates in design reviews at strategic points of product or project development
Key Requirements:
Completes tasks on time and within budget
Possess general knowledge of steel and furnace industries
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Can work independently and oversee the work of others
Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk, Inventor, AutoCAD P&ID, Autodesk Plant
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to effectively read and understand engineering drawings
Has excellent communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
