Position Purpose:
The Manager of Talent & Staffing will support the talent acquisition needs for Autopart Internationals corporate office, 210
store locations, and distribution center. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle with a strategic focus on sourcing, recruiting and retaining top talent at all levels.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform sourcing, screening, and interviewing for exempt corporate positions. Partner with hiring manager to understand job requirements, assess candidates, and provide guidance for the negotiation/offer phase to close the candidate. Complete onboarding tasks including offer letter preparation, background checks and orientation.
Act as System Administrator on ADP Virtual Edge recruiting and applicant tracking system, ADP electronic I-9 system, and ADP Background Screen system. Serve as key point of contact between AI and ADP to troubleshoot issues, define user hierarchy and system permissions, configure/modify the system based on internal procedures, and test system changes. Communicate system features to AI user population and provide training on all systems as needed.
Set new store staffing strategy and timelines and ensure alignment with Regional Vice Presidents and New Store Development teams. Ensure Field Recruiter executes on strategy to hire top performers in new store markets. Update tracking spreadsheet and report out bi-weekly on status/progress.
Manage company-wide sourcing and recruitment advertising programs and vendors, including Monster, Careerbuilder, Indeed, Craigslist, AI external web site, employee referral program and specialized sourcing vendors. Negotiate pricing and terms of contracts, ensure costs are within budget, and monitor effectiveness of sources.
Serve as key contact to evaluate potential temporary staffing and direct-hire recruitment vendors to support hiring needs. Negotiate contract terms and manage vendor relationships, performance and communication.
Responsible for forecasting the Recruiting department annual budget, managing expenses to budget and performing monthly reconciliation and tracking. Assist in compiling budget detail from all HR departments into total HR budget forecast.
Plan & oversee activity of Field Recruiter (market visits, pipeline, activity/progress, reporting, coaching/training) as well as Recruitment Administrator. .
Partner with Talent & Staffing teams at parent company and other divisions; attend monthly meetings to leverage recruitment advertising, develop employment branding, evaluate systems capabilities and opportunities to merge systems, as well as define and manage rehire status and sharing of talent across business lines.
Responsible for fiscal period and year-end analysis of headcount and turnover. Provide business leaders with summary analysis of trends and employee population breakdown as needed. Train HR administrators on period analysis.
Conduct onboarding training for newly hired District Manager, Assistant District Manager and District Sales Manager on recruiting process, systems, job postings, etc.
Delivers presentations and training to hiring managers on recruiting process, interview skills, sourcing strategies, legal requirements and other related topics as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field or a combination of equivalent work experience and education.
5-7 years of experience in full-life cycle recruitment, sourcing, and candidate assessment, including behavior assessment, and understanding of core competency-based interviewing techniques
Must have experience in a matrixed organization (corporate, stores, distribution), with a mix of centralized and de-centralized HR functions
Experience partnering with managers to understand hiring needs and developing creative talent acquisition strategies to implement effective recruitment plans in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Solid business acumen is highly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal/state employment law, EEO and FCRA guidelines and policies
Experience in or knowledge of generalist human resources functions such as compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, training and development to understand total department operation.
Experience with ADP Virtual Edge strongly preferred; experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required.
Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 10% travel by car and plane to stores or meeting locationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
