Production Manager-
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
1. Managing day-to-day production schedule in coordination with Planner.
2. Managing production personnel in liquid fragrance, botanics, and butter reaction flavor manufacturing.
3. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
4. Manage Food Safety Programs on the production floor level. Manage the Master Cleaning Schedule.
5. Member of GMP Audit and Food Safety and Quality Teams. Serve as backup to Plant Manager and Planner.
6.Identifies capital needs with emphasis on return and regulatory compliance issues.
7. Help establish efficient and proactive communication links to internal and external customers.
8. Promotes a performance-based workforce. Conducts annual performance appraisals with subordinates. Develops appropriate objectives for manufacturing personnel.
9. Coordinates activities with different department supervisors as needed.
10. Enforces company policy as it relates to labor requirements, safety, training, and interviewing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimums BS in business, laboratory science, or industrial engineering.
Minimum 10 years experience as manager in fast paced manufacturing environment.
Experience in a chemical, GMP, or job shop manufacturing environment required.
Ability to read and comprehend English language operating procedures, safety instructions, engineering plans, labels, manufacturing batch records, correspondence, equipment directions.
Ability to setup and solve algebraic equations, proportions, conversions between metric and English units of measure, calculations of percentages and knowledge of statistics.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
