Sr Marketing Database Manager

The Sage Group is looking for a Senior Marketing Database Manager to work for a leading global data center and interconnection services company on the Peninsula. This person will work with global counterparts in Marketing, IT, Sales and Sale Operations, as well as data vendors and contractors, to optimize the quality, integrity and availability of customer and prospect data to feed and accelerate marketing and sales revenue programs.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement the global marketing database strategy with the goal of improving the support of demand generation across multiple routes to market (global, regional and vertical marketing efforts)
Lead efforts to standardize and normalize customer and prospect data collected in multiple systems and across multiple points in the sales cycle
Manage efforts to acquire external data that will enrich the database based on various go-to-market segmentation requirements
Serve as the company's contact data acquisition best-practice consultant, developing and managing relationships with global vendors and contractors
Serve as global marketing's data privacy compliance officer: audit, approve and manage the ongoing use of customer and prospect data across marketing activities and initiatives
Train and motivate worldwide marketing teams to improve the adoption of best practices in data management and segmentation
Skills Required:
8
years in high tech B2B marketing data management /demand generation environment, including 2-4 years of experience with Marketing Automation tools.
Familiarity with Marketo, Eloqua or similar software in addition to Salesforce.com
5
years experience working in a global role coordinating and aligning work in multi-national environment.
Strong project management and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously for seamless execution
Proven technical, analytical and quantitative skills coupled with effective communication skills that enable translating complex data and/ or issues into productive discussions / actions at the executive and operational levels
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated aptitude to thriving in a changing environment and ambiguous situations, while staying focused on meeting objectives
Timing: contract to Hire
