Position Summary
- Responsible and accountable for the academic success of students.
- Inspires teachers to excel in their jobs and motivates students to achieve their highest potential.
- Provides instructional and administrative leadership to the teaching staff, oversees implementation of curriculum, coordinates exams and monitors student academic performance.
- Supervises and evaluates teachers and educational staff.
- Works closely with the Director, the school administrative team, and SABIS ensure student success.
- Provides first contact to parents on academic issues and serves as liaison to the Parent Connection/Network.
- Makes sure the SABIS philosophy, systems, policies and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to.
- Primary assignment may be for a specific grade level or multiple grade levels.
- Must attend required school functions as identified by administration.
- This is a calendar year position.

Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in education or related field and demonstrated successful teaching experience
- Senior teaching or administrative position in an educational institution a plus
- Master's Degree preferred, may be required if necessary to comply with local regulations - Leadership and team management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational and self-management skills; Ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Goal orientation; Planning and execution skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Dependability; Readiness to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goals
