Sales/Customer Service Coordinator

Creative Foam's facility in Fenton, MI has an outstanding opportunity for a Customer Service/Sales Coordinator reporting to Corporate Sales Administration Manager.
Internal liaison between the customer and various company departments - works as a team with specific Sales Account Managers
Essential Functions:
Receives, confirms and qualifies various requests for information from the customer
Generates and follows open quotation and sample requests to ensure customer timeframe is met
Generates and follows open quotation and sample requests to ensure customer timeframe is met
Develops/reviews/distributes formal quotations to the customer.
Reveiws all commercial issues relating to customer purchase orders. Follows up as needed for any corrections. Ensures PO's are retained to the master file.
Launches new orders to all applicable departments. Enters and releases orders for tooling or special charges. Follows up with appropriate departments to help ensure timely PPAP submission.
Maintains all appropriate files and records pertaining to Request for Quotes, Request for Samples and Completed Quotations.
Incumbent must maintain strong communication links with Manufacturing, Estimating, Sample Departments and Accounting.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
Some customer service experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) PLEX experience beneficial
Strong communication skills
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Detail oriented and organized.
Displays initiative, ability to work independently, and ability to prioritize effectively
Ability to work effectively with others.
