Manage and actively contribute to product price positioning/ maintenance processes and reporting. Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the price process through the provision of appropriate tools, data and reporting to enable validation of the price strategy and enhancement of margins. This position is accountable for making assessments on price negotiation activities using segment marketing strategies and set pricing profiles. Ensures accuracy of requests from a system standpoint. Works closely with segments to help increase business profitability without upsetting market level prices.
1. Develop and manage the process and tools to maintain Product Price Positioning data and Margin data during the life of the product.
2. Work with Product Marketing to define core products within each key family and maintain price comparisons for core competitor products.
3. Work with Product Marketing and Finance, to support and contribute to the price positioning process and margin monitoring at product line level.
4. Work with commercial entities, segment and product marketing to analysis net prices within key customer types/segments for high volume sellers.
5. Delta & / Delta V reporting at product line level, cost centre direct and distributor for total. Validate against the Financial Dp/Dv model.
6. Work with product margin to improve and manage the price update process.
Sales Experience Preferred
