This is a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position located at Silver Springs, U.S. Army Installation, in the Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS), Child Development Center (CDC).
The Child Development Center (CDC) provides full-time care to children ages 6 weeks through 5 years Monday through Friday from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm. CDC follows the Creative Curriculum philosophy and believes that children learn through play, free flowing creativity, and exploration of their environment. CDC strives to provide children with opportunities to make choices and to experience success in an environment designed to meet all of their developmental needs.
Provide care/supervision, oversight, and accountability for children during a variety of daily scheduled indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, outings and/or special events. Foster a program environment that promotes positive child and youth interactions with other children, youth and adults.
These are developmental positions from Entry to Skill (CY-01), to Target Level (CY-02). Applicants who are placed at the Entry level are required to complete assigned training, and upon completion, will be reassigned to the Skill level. Incumbents must then complete additional training, and upon completion, will be promoted to the Target level.
This is an intermittent (Flexible) appointment with no guaranteed hours. Duty hours will vary and may include rotating shifts.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
