General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Systems/Network Administration Specialist to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to work with some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation and management of multiuser computer systems and local area networks. Key Responsibilities
System/Network Administration Specialists handle the acquisition, installation, operations, maintenance and usage of a multiuser computer system, including local area networks. These employees install workstation hardware and peripheral components, and must have knowledge of operating systems including UNIX, NT, SQL, Sun, Windows, etc. Senior Systems/Network Administration Specialists are responsible for loading and verifying correct operation of the operating systems and the various subcomponents. This includes managing login/domain accounts and file access rights, establishing DNS and email servers, and developing various software scripts to enhance productivity. In addition, this employee backs up systems and maintains data files and control procedures.
Candidates should demonstrate sophisticated problem solving and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think critically and logically to effectively implement and maintain GDAISs multiuse computer system and networks.
System/Network Administrators must have a bachelors degree in a specialized area, field or the equivalent, and a minimum of two to five years of related experience. Applicants with a masters degree and zero to two years of related experience also qualify.
Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
