The Commercial Relationship Manager delivers a client focused experience in the community. Supports market leadership in building awareness of the brand. Leverages relationships with clients and centers of influence to promote the entire bank and its capabilities. Supports sales delivery through aggressive relationship building with key commercial clients and prospects. Through proactive probing and value added, relevant financial conversations, proactively identifies opportunities and proposes solutions that result in sales of all bank products and services.
Credit Risk Management
Manages an assigned loan portfolio ensuring all documentation is in place and applicable terms and conditions are adhered to
Routinely reviews the asset quality of all loans assigned, ensuring referrals of problem situations are made to the appropriate associate
Approves credit applications within assigned lending authority, refers approvals outside of authority to an appropriate associate
Negotiates profitable spreads, and maintains timely information flow to insure quality of the portfolio
Maintains an in depth knowledge of small business and commercial credit policies and procedures
Sales Performance and Leadership
Maintains an in depth knowledge of all bank and affiliate products and services
Analyzes financial statements, uncovers optimal credit solutions within the context of a relationship plan, understands and articulates cash flow and the inter-relationship between assets and liabilities, determining the right solution for individuals and professional associations
Responsible for retaining, growing, acquiring commercial client relationships, ensuring a balance between growth and profitability
Works closely with partners in Commercial, Private Banking, Retail Banking, Cash Management, First Citizens Securities, and Capital Management to deliver complete client banking solutions
A 4 yr college degree is preferred
A minimum of 5 yrs of commercial lending experience
