The Client Onboarding Platform team employs the best technologies to solve critical real-world problems for one of the world's biggest banks. We are looking for strong Java / UI developers with extensive experience building application services, who are self-starters and eager learners.
DUTIES:
Design and develop applications and work with business users directly.
Lead one of the technical components and manage day-to-day issues/questions/ user queries.
Prepare technical implementation design and high level tasks.
Define solutions to complex client requirements.
Identify and develop reusable components.
Develop highly scalable web app for large user base.
Create user manuals and provide end user training.
Enhance user experience using rich client scripting.
Manage application testing using professional methods and tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or related plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, Software Programmer or related.
Must have experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
Strong knowledge of software best practices (Object-Oriented design, patterns, algorithms, data structures)
Experience writing multi-threaded systems
Experience with Unix (all of our services are deployed on Unix machines)
Applies Test-Driven Development practices
Desire and ability to document code, and write documentation in support of the software
Must have experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Selenium, Java, Oracle, Python and Scala, SQL.
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable
Additional desirable skills:
Past client onboarding experience, trade lifecycle, operations middle office understanding.
Scala programming
Experience using agile development methodologies
Functional programming
An ideal candidate is one who continually hones and expands his or her skills and who brings those to bear in their work.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
