The Front Office Receptionist provides support for the Area Practice Manager, performing standard duties:
Handles matters of a routine nature to conserve supervisor's time
Responsible for completing projects in a timely and efficient manner at supervisor's request
Handles issues that may be extremely sensitive and confidential
Facilitates continuous improvements of processes to enhance organizational efficiencies, improved patient services and quality of work for employees and providers
Coordinates with Area Practice Manager to maximize production/efficiency from medical assistants and receptionists
Coordinates responsibilities in accordance with office policies
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
Experience:
Preferred: Prior 2 years experience in physician office setting
Preferred: Prior experience in a medical office billing and collections
Required: Demonstrates effective organizational and time-management skills
Required: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Required: Ability to handle patient issues, concerns in a timely manner, problem-solve and multi-task
Required: Demonstrate effective leadership skills and ability to motivate employees
Required: Ability to accurately interpret EOB for practice and patientsClerical Support
Organization: Physician PracticeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
