Baja Broadband is seeking a Dispatcher to join the company. Dispatchers support field technicians with activation of customer premise equipment. This position informs, updates, and handles calls from field technicians and from customers. The Dispatcher completes, cancels and reassigns work assignments in their designated area.
The normal shift for this position will be 9:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday. (Other hours and/or Saturdays will be occasionally required for coverage)
Supports field personnel with activation of customer premise equipment.
Work with and troubleshoot various equipment; modems, EMTA's and multiple digital receivers.
Handles calls from internal and external customers with a high degree of customer service.
Completes, Cancels, and Reassigns work assignments for field technicians on work in their designated areas. Enters follow up or referral tasks for field technicians.
Makes outbound calls to customers for dispatch and/or special project needs.
