This is our direct-client is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure and Security Engineer - Warren, NJ. This is a permanent full time position. The Salary range is DOE
Qualifications and Requirements
4
years of enterprise IT experience including monitoring and tuning multi-tiered server infrastructures
2
years working with cloud infrastructures, such as AWS and vCloud
2
years of software deployment and systems architecture experience
Experience with Safenet 2-factor authentication, Dell Aventail/SonicWall, Alienvault, Sophos UTM, Symantec CCS and/or Fortinet Fortigate is a plus
Hands on experience with at least 3 of the following:
Intrusion Detection/Prevention (Snort, Cisco, Tipping Point)
Infrastructure Vulnerability Management (Qualys/Nessus/Rapid7)
Compliance Management (Symantec CCS/Bindview/ESM)
Data Loss Protection solutions (Symantec DLP)
Security Information Management solutions (SIM)
Enterprise Virus Management Solutions (SEP, EPO)
Enterprise Host Based IDS Solutions (Symantec CSP)
Endpoint Encryption Solutions (PGP)
Network Based Mail encryption solutions (PGP)
2 Factor Authentication solutions (SecurID, Safeword)
Be able to build and debug deployments with support from developers
Experience defining security strategies for end-to-end application infrastructure and hardening application infrastructure including patch management, security logging, operational logging, vulnerability scanning and vulnerability remediation.
Experience in architecting distributed, highly available, high performance, scalable applications
Experience designing and implementing mission critical Enterprise solutions, considering HA, DR and business continuity.
Familiarity with load-balancing, dynamic DNS and other HA technologies
Knowledge and work experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Xen, KVM and public cloud resources such as AWS Cloud is a plus
Experience with MS SQL server and backup technologies is a plus
Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
Understanding of web services API security will be ideal
Experience working in a SaaS environment or start up space is a plus.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or comparable industry experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
