Staff Accountant

Responsibilities
Responsible for company's accounts receivable, which includes posting cash receipts, researching, reconciling customer accounts, resolving issues and collections.
Responsible for the general ledger. Lead month-end close processes, booking required journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, researching variances and assisting with company financial reporting.
Support payroll, product costing, tax and audit functions for organization.
Demonstrate the ability to be a versatile team member who can provide support in multiple areas while managing existing workload and deadlines
Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement, identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers, and is open and responsive to change.
Other duties as assigned by accounting team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3 to 5 years of experience
Strong organizational and problem solving skills Ability to multi-task, follow up on pending issues and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work well independently and in team environment
Be an advocate for process improvement and willing to learn new skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and AccessEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
