This role will work as a PACS Administrator to include: PACS management, maintenance and troubleshooting, End-user training,Workflow management and redesign,Physician relations, Administration and integration, Development of PACS policies and guidelines,Vendor management, Expanding the system to new customers and modalities and Reading room design
This position provides timely and effective production support and installation for distributed systems, with emphasis on company-wide systems and inter/intranet support. Support and administer technical IS systems, including installing and testing hardware and software, configuring and tuning the operating systems and file systems, planning capacity needs, producing system documentation and providing for backup and recovery. As appropriate assignments will be related to Unix, Windows, Netware, and Storage environments. As appropriate assignments will also include data center coordination. Position requires on-call and off-hours support.
Education/Learning Experience
- Required: Four-year college degree or Bachelor''s Degree in technical discipline and/or related experience.
- Desired: IT related degree, Formal training related to Windows, Unix, Netware, or Storage systems.
Work Experience
- Required: 8 years professional experience. Minimum five years workstation/server with experience with minimum of five years technical experience with PC software and hardware.
- Desired: IT Experience in a Health Care environment, 8
years Server administration.
Skills/Knowledge
- Required: 8 years professional experience. 5-8 years of extensive experience with PC software and hardware.
- Desired: IT Experience in a Health Care environment. Experience with server management tools. Experience with multiple domains, complex server and disk farm environments. Knowledge of performance optimization. Knowledge of network protocols. Project management experience.
