Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, criminal justice, juvenile justice, or a closely related field and two years of work experience dealing directly with the treatment and rehabilitation needs of delinquent adolescents. A master's degree in the above fields may be substituted for one year of work experience. Must successfully complete an interview, standard background and criminal background check.
If no qualified applicants are found, the Department of Corrections will consider filling as a Juvenile Corrections Technician with a salary range of $3282 - $4376 per month. Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, criminal justice, or other closely related field.

Summary of Work
Provide case management services to delinquent and unruly adolescents including: assessing needs and developing treatment plans; providing community-based corrections services; coordinating resources for counseling; coordinating placements and counseling referrals; working with juvenile justice and service agencies; providing crisis intervention; preparing required documentation; and functioning as a community liaison, and facilitate groups. Requires frequent travel.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
