Position
Summary:
I. TREATMENT PLANNING AND DISCHARGE PLANNING
On assignedtherapy cases, is able to formulate clearly defined goals andobjectives as evidenced by writing goals that
reflect thepatient's presenting problems as seen in the assessments. Isable to accurately reflect progress of the patient
specific tothe treatment goals.
Therapist begins discharge planning atadmission as seen on the intake assessment and treatment plan.
II. ASSESSMENT OF PATIENTS
Demonstrates knowledgeof developmental tasks of children, adolescents and adults.
Demonstrates the ability to recognize signs and symptoms of anxietyand impending behavioral escalation.
Ability to recognize andevaluate behavior, changing levels of depression, tendencies towardself-aggressive behavior, cognitive functioning deficits, learningdeficits, and patient's capacity for self-care.
Exhibitsproficiency in diagnosing and determining appropriate level of carebased on client symptoms.
Identifies signs of abuse and neglectand follow necessary procedures to ensure client safety.
III. TREATMENT TEAM
Accurate information iscommunicated to all members of the team as observed by the supervisor
Works cooperatively and positively with all treatment teammembers as observed by the supervisor.
Is flexible and creativewith job requirements and expectation as observed by supervisor.
IV. TREAMENT DELIVERY
Individual, family, andgroup therapy occur as prescribed by the physician approved treatmentplan as evidenced by documentation in the medical record.
Demonstrates a willingness to be able to provide client-orientedservices when needed, regardless of hours and times.
Ensuresthat parents/guardian/significant others are made aware of allassessments, evaluations and treatment results as
assessed bythe supervisor.
Achieve productivity expectations through thecompletion of required clinical hours.

V. DOCUMENTATION
Therapy notes reflect an awareness of the patient'spathology and problems, notes are goal directed and follow theprescribed format (P.I.E.) as evidenced by the notes in the medicalrecord.
Assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes arecompleted timely according to Outreach guidelines as evidenced bysubmission to UR Specialist.
Provides accurate and completedocumentation as observed by the UR Specialist.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of aMasters Degree in a Human Services field, preferably Social Work,from an accredited university. A minimum of two years psychiatrictreatment experience is preferred along with experience inindividual, group, and family therapy. Knowledge of regulatoryrequirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children,adolescent and adults preferred. A basic knowledge of educational,psychological and social service systems as related to specialeducation and behavior treatment preferred.
CERTIFICATES,LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Appropriate State Licensure includingLMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPE or LPC. Licensure must be maintained.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
