Job Description:
Dow Jones & Company seeks Application Developer in South Brunswick, New Jersey.
The primary focus of this position is to develop some new metadata and publishing features for WSJDN editors. Specific job duties include the following: Extend a set of existing computer applications and build a set of new tools, programs and interfaces; Develop dynamic web application prototypes; Work closely with other developers and the User Experience & Creative Design teams; Participate in the usability reviews and testing of the prototypes; Develop code to meet the product requirements and to comply with the industry standards; Employ a coding style that follows standard guidelines and tools; Build and executes rigorous and thorough testing plans for software; Apply current software engineering methods/practices.
Requires a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience. One should also have at least 2 years of Java experience; experience in Java/J2EE, JSP, Struts, Play frameworks; strong knowledge of SQL and the ability to design efficient queries; expertise with XML, DOM, XSLT; experience with OOP theory and practices; experience with deployment systems using automated tools, like Maven 2; experience with Apache, Tomcat, JavaScript; and the ability to work independently within set guidelines for development of high quality code. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
35 hours/week. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
