Our firm is in search of a new grad or an experienced NP or PA for our outpatient corporate wellness center. Opportunity is 3 hours from Salt Lake City.
Job Title - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Salary range - $95k
Bonuses - Sign-on and relocation bonus offered
Benefits - Medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, life insurance, 401k (company matches at 50% of up to 6% of salary), 17 PTO days that are accrued, 6 set holidays and 4 floating holidays. 5 CME travel days and $2150 in CME dollars.
Job requirements - Master's degree (MSN) required. Previous experience in family practice or urgent care setting. Nationally Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state or jurisdiction of practice National Certification with NCCPA. DEA required. Current BLS certification, ACLS a plus but not required. Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice. Previous experience with an EMR software.
Job duties - will do full primary care with acute episodic care, preventative medicine and chronic disease management. Sees on average of 15-20 patients a day. We see ages newborns and up, so wellbaby and wellwoman checks. The office has full clinical support with each provider having a RN assigned to them. We also have lab, radiology and mammograms and pharmacy onsite. We refer out to local specialists when needed. Do primary care, see about 3 patients per hour to remain productive. Primary care and occ health with pre-employment with health screenings. Do NOT do OB. Do PAPS. Do suturing with lacerations. Minor procedures.
Hours - M/W/F 8am-5pm and T/TH - 11am-8pm. Saturday from 9am-Noon. 1:5 schedule for Saturday coverage. No holidays or call required. Effective in 90 days, the site will change hours. Their hours will be 8am-8pm, Monday-Friday.
Location - It is in Elko, NV. This rural location is 5 hours from Reno, about 3 hours from Salt Lake City. There is a small airport and Delta has 4 flights in/out each day that goes to SLC. The site is in a brand new stand-alone building right on same campus as hospital. They work by appointment only except on Saturdays. There are 3 FT Physicians, 1 open Physician position and 1 FT PA and then this role so total of 6 when fully staffed. They have Lab, X-Ray and pharmacy onsite. The health center sees the employees and dependents of 2 gold mine companiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
