Job Description:
o Security Consulting for best practice implementation of various technologies on the Cloud environment
o Evaluation of various security technologies (end-point solutions, audit & logging solutions etc.) to identify the best-fit solution to meet organization objectives
o Implementation of the selected solution in accordance to the best practices to meet specified requirements
o Perform necessary security audit and assessment on the selected platform
o Additional responsibilities will include performing documentation review and improvement, attending meetings as needed, serve front line response for troubleshooting issues as needed.
o Collaboration with Line of Business technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation
o Documentation of actions taken for audit, regulatory and legal purposes within approved event tracking system
o Communicate and escalate issues and incidents as required by process or management
Technical skills Required:
o Good understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts
o Comprehensive knowledge of Information Security including virus, malware, attacks, and vulnerability management
o Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills
o Experience assisting the development and maintenance of tools, procedures, and documentation
o Customer service including the resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and response
o Use of Anti-Virus, IDS, IPS, and/or other signature matching technology
o Subject matter expert (SME) in one or multiple areas such as Windows, Unix, midrange, mainframe, firewalls, intrusion detection, threat detection analysis, or information risk management
o Ability to think strategically, work with a sense of urgency and pay attention to detail
o Ability to follow detailed process and procedure documentation
o Independent thinking, willingness to step outside the box and take reasonable, calculated risks
o Security certifications like CISSP or SANS GIAC GCIA will be preferred
