This is our direct-client opening for a Sr. .Net Developer located in Columbus, GA. This is a 3
month contract-to-hire position and the salary upon conversion to a full-time employee will range depend on experience level.
Responsibilities:
Under little to no supervision, develops and builds applications and/or databases for internal or external clients in a fast-paced or project oriented environment.
Attends on-going training classes to gain a broad understanding of current database applications and programming languages.
Applies learning skills in database applications and programming languages to projects of a high complexity and magnitude.
Receives business requirements from client via a Business Analyst and successfully builds applications, functions, and processes using programming skills/software.
Through new and current technologies, creates databases via a server and front-end applications (interface) using web development tools.
Conducts testing, including unit, business analysis, and client testing, (via a pilot site) for accuracy.
Maintains tested applications for quality assurance and production support.
Enhances understanding of our software platforms, and the credit card industry through on-going training.
Enhances understanding of the companys project development/management processes, methodology, and demonstrates proficient multitasking skills to successfully complete project management metrics and reporting
As needed, professionally communicates with clients on assigned projects as needed.
Operates and maintains existing production database applications.
Generates ad-hoc and standard reports using existing reporting applications.
Participates in disaster recovery projects and events.
Enhance existing applications to meet the needs of ongoing efforts within software platforms.
Provides input to management regarding the budget of departmental equipment and software requirements.
Serves as a mentor to Client Server Software Analyst I and II.
Participates in team, department, and division meetings as required.
May supervise no more than two level I and/or II team members.
Must Haves:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

years of development experience
Experience in Mainframe and Web based technologies is preferred
Demonstrated expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns
Proficiency with service oriented architectures (SOA)
Solid experience in the following technologies: ASP.NET, Web Services, .NET Windows Services, C#, LINQ, SQL, HTML/CSS, ADO.NET,
Nice to Haves:
Experience in the following technologies: VB.NET, Cognos, JavaScript, jQuery, DB2, Microsoft Enterprise Libraries, Utilizing 3rd party browser plug-ins for content management, REST, MVC, JSON, HTML5, Message Queuing, ADO.NET Entity Framework
Proficiency in testing methodologies, application lifecycle management, documentation, and best practices
Experience with developing unit tests and automated testing/build environments
Experience with developing or integrating with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Reporting systems
Internal Notes from Manager: The role we are looking for is truly in the .NET technology. Cognos is the BI tool used in our area but a Cognos developer is not what we are looking for.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
