The Associate Brand Manager is a key contributor to the overall brand team. They are primarily responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the planning, execution and analysis of various business initiatives. Posts approach to brand management allows for broad exposure to all functional activities on a brand including sales, operations, market research, distribution, finance and advertising, which results in the development of strong marketing and general management skills.
Requirements Essential Job Functions:
Perform business analysis through key implications and action plans.
Initiate and execute consumer promotion activity for a brand through appropriate in-house or outside agencies.
Support commercialization of new product and line extension opportunities.
Support development of business plans and marketing programs.
Work with Market Research to develop an ongoing base of knowledge to achieve a thorough understanding of both the consumer and the product.
Track and update coupon, trade and advertising budgets for brand.
Track and forecast overall share position for a brand.
Initiate and execute packaging changes for a brand
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership skills
Proven ability to make an impact/get results
Superior communication skills, verbal and written
Strong analytical skills
Broad business understanding
Passion for marketing
Education:
MBA
Experience:
6 mos. in marketing role in CPG
