Medical Devices & Diagnostics (MD&D) Global Services, L.L.C., represents more than 60 manufacturing sites and 26,000 employees who plan, source, manufacture and deliver high-quality and cost-effective medical products to our customers around the globe each day. Work of the MD&D Supply Chain supports a multitude of product platforms, new products and delivery systems that are used in a wide range of procedures throughout the healthcare industry, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, minimally invasive surgery, hospital sterilization, clinical laboratory testing, diabetes management, joint replacement surgery and vision care.
The Senior Engineer will plan, conduct and direct engineering projects or studies, including complete projects requiring advanced knowledge of a specialized field. Apply comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices within broad assignment areas. This individual will coordinate and direct activities of technical support staff (salary and wage) and will be responsible for technical development of assigned staff. Track and trend data, identify and implement process improvements to improve business measures. Investigate product inquiries, develop and implement appropriate corrective actions. Provide Subject Matter Expertise and Platform Ownership on multiple equipment types and technologies, including equipment reliability.
The Capacity Planner will work with the Supply Planner to identify proper allocation of scarce raw materials. Identify root causes to issues and recommend corrective actions affecting ability to run the short-term production plan. Optimize system planning parameters to drive accurate production signals (i.e. order minimums, multiples, maximums). Ensure the Process Excellence team updates planning parameters to reflect demonstrated manufacturing capability (i.e. lead time, yield, scrap rates, usage rates). Ensure planned events (conversion/transfers) affecting production do not impact customer service or inventory goals. This individual will also be responsible for creating Item Change Orders (ICOs) necessary to support planned events/base business, Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy and for managing/mapping capacity within the Advanced Planning System. Ensure Johnson & Johnson affiliate product requirements are satisfied. Participate in and support the GOALS and Sales and Operations Planning processes. Provide PSIs and Customer Service Communications. Provide information as necessary to track/trend customer service, inventory and performance metrics. Correct work orders as required. Perform other work related duties as assigned by supervisor. Follow current compliance regulations and standards. Comply with all federal regulated programs.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 4 years of related planning experience is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures is preferred. Knowledge of vertically integrated manufacturing processes preferred. Supply chain/operations experience is preferred. Experience working with suppliers is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Cognos, JD Edwards (JDE) and SAP preferred. Process Excellence/Six Sigma training and/or use of tools preferred. Process Excellence/Six Sigma Certification preferred. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and/or Certified in Supply Chain Planning (CSCP) preferred. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Must have strong analytical problem-solving skills. The ability to collaborate with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required. The ability to work off-shift and weekend hours, as needed by business, is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
