We are currently seeking a Division Director of Supply Chain for Beacon Roofing Supply to manage, design and lead the supply chain function for one of our five divisions.
The Responsibilities Include:
Oversee and drive the overall purchasing and procurement processes and build relationships that foster effective purchasing arrangements with key vendors for one of Beacon's five divisions.
Develop an effective supply chain organization including actively engaging all supply chain employees in assessment, goal setting, training needs and personal development.
In conjunction with the Chief Supply Chain Officer, assist in developing job descriptions that accurately and effectively provide a fundamental basis for growth and expansion while establishing training and development plans for each supply chain associate.
Work with the Chief Supply Chain Officer to develop and drive an overall efficient and effective strategy for the supply chain function within Beacon Roofing Supply.
Actively participate in the development of key strategic and tactical metrics that will provide near term and long term development and growth for Beacon Roofing Supply.
Leverage core capability within the division and company to drive year over year improvement in supply chain productivity, quality, working capital turns and material deflation.
Provide analytical support for supply chain projects, including data collection, data analysis, score carding and supplier market research.
Lead process improvements to address key program challenges and to increase our ability to deliver upon our commitments.
Conduct product trend analysis, supplier management, cost plan development and implementation; supply base development, performance tracking and reporting.
Responsibility for approximately $250M - $400M in spend.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Minimum 10 years of supply chain and purchasing/sourcing experience, preferably within the distribution industry.
APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP certification.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Sourcing, Purchasing, Business, Finance or related degree.
Proven leadership skills and process orientation.
Strong project management skills.
Demonstrated comfort level with both detailed tactical and strategic planning and implementation.
Strong ability to work in changing environment, see through complexity.
Demonstrate thought leadership and execute.
Strong influencing and coaching skills. Proven experience in developing and coaching a team.
Ability to be effective in a highly matrixed environment, to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of the organization and drive change.
Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis with financial analysis acumen.
Strategic sourcing experience within a Fortune 500 company or a leading consultancy or in any manufacturing operations or supply chain position is preferred.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Access tools.
Understanding of strategic sourcing, process/supplier implementation and change management best practices preferred.
Knowledge of contract language is required.
Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team oriented culture.
Must be able to think and act strategically, but also be willing to roll up sleeves within the purchasing function.
Up to 50% travel may be required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
