In this role you will Lead Sourcing team engagement in all Tollgate activities for assigned NPI components. You will establish overall Sourcing Strategy to: Deliver Sourced components on time to support Program need dates and achieve DTC targets. You will also assure all NPI component qualifications are completed on time to support program requirements and Customer need dates.
Essential Responsibilities The NPI Senior Sourcing Program Leader will own the overall Sourcing vision, strategy and tollgate deliverables for assigned NPI components. This position requires frequent interface with NPI Sourcing team component owners, Product Line leaders, NPI Program Managers and Engineering and Manufacturing functions.
In addition, you will:
Manage Supplier Selection Process
Be responsible for Cost Ownership - Assurance of lowest price
Manage on time RFQ / PO award and Fulfillment through Integrated Master Schedule
Engage the business leadership team to develop sourcing programs / processes and deliver enhanced productivity
Manage budgets and contracts associated with programs and/or initiatives
Support and deliver solutions related to the programs
Drive proactive involvement in all functional activities related to sourcing to ensure that sourcing has upfront involvement in all new programs and delivers strong value to the business
Conduct qualification & competitive analysis of vendor products / services
Understand and drive Six Sigma quality internally and with suppliers
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 additional years of experience in a Sourcing position
