Position Summary
Develop and deliver operator training and evaluation through simulator, classroom, and in-plant training programs; To analyze and develop training solutions that improve operator and plant performance. To ensure that safe an efficient operation of SSES are provide by implementing the operator accredited training programs. This training includes License Operator Requalification, initial License Operator and Shift Technical Advisor training programs.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Train and evaluate company personnel in the operations department - including an d not limited to Operator License Training programs, E-Plan, STA, Plant Certification Candidate, SSES permit and tag.
2. Maintain an active NRC SRO license or certification for SSES Units 1 and 2; attend Licensed Operator Requal Training; complete all examinations.
3. Develop lesson plans, scenarios, job performance measures, procedures, job task analysis, curriculum schedules, work plans, emergency drills, evaluation tools, and company and station goals.
4. Maintain and improve curriculum, training and exam materials, incorporate corrective action and operating experience to training material.
5. Participate in rotational assignments such as Unit Supervisor SSES position, Refueling Team Supervisor, or other outage assignments. Perform Operator duties during SSES strike contingency.
6. Maintain SSES simulator fidelity and certification in accordance with NRC regulations and ANSI standards.
7. Fulfill E-Plain on-call responsibilities; fulfill duties of operating crew management oversight, perform duties as post-plant event facilitator.
8. Maintain simulator operating proficiency and instructor certification.
9. Perform root cause analysis of operating events at SSES.
10. Benchmark Training Program performance through visits to other utilities.
11. Extensive knowledge of the design and operation of SSES to maintain a current NRC SRO license and to train/evaluate operators who hold NRC licenses at the plant per 10CFR55 requirements.
12. Develop, maintain and apply the STC curriculum process and Systematic approach to Training, which is used to analyze training requirements for a job position, then develop and deliver re-training for all positions including plant management.
13. Maintain training program accreditation in accordance with INPO and NRC requirements.

1. Two-Year Technical Degree of Higher in Engineering, Science, or related fields.
2. Must meet the equivalent requirements for Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) eligibility as stated in ACAD 09-001, Guidelines for Initial Training and Qualification of Licensed Operators, section 2.2
3. NRC Senior Reactor Operator License or Certifications for SSES.
4. PPL Certified Simulator Instructor.
5. National Academy for Nuclear Training Instructor Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Perform as an on-call member of the Nuclear Emergency Response organization. Develop and conduct NRC Licensed Operator certification exam. Perform as member of SSES Event Review Teams. Maintain and improve instructor qualifications through continuing training and attainment of college level course credits. Support and maintain simulator fidelity and certification.
2. Knowledge of various computer-related applications, including simulator model designs.
3. SRO Certification/License or previous SRO Certification/License (BWR preferred)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
