The ICP-MS Chemist is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of all products being manufactured at Biotics Research by testing heavy metals and trace elements in products that have elemental analysis specifications, using the ICP-MS spectroscopic techniques.
Functions:
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform quantitative analysis of heavy metals (HM) and mineral identification (MID) testing on raw materials
Perform trace element analysis on in-process bulk batches
Perform Heavy Metal and Mineral Identification testing on finished products
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ICP-MS
Report and review data, ensuring quality controls are met
Assist in method validation process as needed
Qualifications and skills:
BS in Chemistry or related discipline
Minimum 2 yrs. experience in metals analysis using ICP-MS instrument (Agilent a plus)
Highly organized. Superior attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritizing is necessary
Strong organization and documentation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of GLP and cGMPs. Experience with FDA regulations
Flexible to work overtime as required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
