Job Description
The preferred candidate must be able to plan, develop and deliver technical product and E-learning and Web-Based training programs for field support personnel and customers. The candidate must possess technical writing skills, E-learning software development skills, Usability skills, and the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with peers, software developers, field support personnel and the customer. The candidate will work only under general direction. The candidate must also possess excellent customer intimacy skills, as the work will be performed in both LM and customer spaces, and there will be frequent interaction with the LM and customer PMO.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications
The trainer is responsible for planning, developing and implementing technical product and Web-Based training programs typically for field support personnel and customers. Other responsibilities include researching and understanding the overall functionality and usability of both software applications and hardware to prepare technical training programs and on-line materials. The trainer will also be required to design and deliver product demonstrations to the customer. Additional tasks required by the trainer include the development of course content, determining course structure and delivery methodology as well as the coordination and development of training aids. The trainer will also conduct training sessions and will develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Working with technical experts, the trainer will continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and will keep technical information up to date.
