Leidos has an immediate opportunity for a Master Scheduler located at Ft. Meade, MD. Position requires a TS clearance and must be SCI eligible.
Job Description:
The Master Scheduler will provide program management and engineering team support in the form of project schedule creation, schedule monitoring, schedule analysis, and reporting. They will also serve as a program specialist supporting acquisition coordination and assisting with other Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Systems Engineering and Integration Office (JSEIO) products and deliverables. The Master Scheduler also develops and maintains a new combined project schedule comprising the integration of multiple contributing project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
Responsible for project scheduling, creating work breakdown structures and the creation of related summaries and presentations for DISA JSEIO Leadership.
Uses automated tools such as MS Project, Project Portfolio Management software. Develops and or modifies project schedules and or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
Maintains the overall Master Program /Project Schedule. Links project schedules with the overarching program, functional area and/or other Integrated Master Plans (IMPs).
Provides hands-on development of layered schedules and IMPs that address how an acquisition project is progressing and how that project contributes to overarching requirements and objectives.
Maintains status on linkages and dependencies with related projects.
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor''s degree in a technical or business discipline and 10 years of related experience. Four (4) years of additional scheduling experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
DoD Acquisition background to include working knowledge of DoD's three principal decision-making support systems needed to provide an integrated approach to strategic planning, capabilities needs assessment, systems acquisition, and program and budget development.
Position requires a TS clearance and must be SCI eligible.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Proficient at MS Project 2007 and higher.
Experience with IMPs and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) or equivalent.
Previous Military Experience.
