# Job Description
Direct the contracting and outsourcing activities at the strategic, program or study level for CDx ensuring adherence to established policies and minimizing risk to Novartis. Collaborate with NIBR Sourcing in developing strategic sourcing plans for the respective CDx function which involves industry analysis, overview of Novartis participation, current strategy, and a gap/opportunity analysis to enable alignment and engagement with CDx and decision making (support make vs. buy decisions, choice of suppliers etc). Develop and facilitate RFIs, RFPs, negotiate master agreements, confidentiality agreements, and various other contracts for CDx ensuring compliance to Novartis legal, ethical, and procurement standards.
# Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree, Baccalaureat (Matur), commercial diploma (Handelsdiplom) or equivalent or, experience working in the pharmaceutical industry within a contract management organization. Fluent English (oral and written) At least 5 years' experience in Drug Development in Pharmaceutical Industry or with a vendor/provider from Pharma - specific experience in outsourcing of manufacturing and logistics, contracting, sourcing, of clinical and manufacturing services; from Vendor/Provider - specific experience in proposals, legal terms and conditions, business development.
