Summary:
The Information Technology Engineering Administrator will be responsible for the implementation of the strategy, standards, process, tools, techniques, training and implementation for all CAD systems, engineering & drafting documentation storage, detailing standards control (GD&T;) and engineering product data management. This role encompasses all TMLS value streams as well oversight of and/or coordination with both internal and external locations.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and enforce the vision and processes required to standardize and update the way engineering works with product documentation, within TMLS, as well as locations that collaborate closely with the TMLS facilities.
Oversee adherence to standards, as well as the proactive re-evaluation of the standard based on the up-to-date industry accepted practices.
Oversee and maintain Solid Works, AutoCAD, and other software used within Engineering & Project Management.
Ensure proper maintenance and operation of software customization; e.g, macros in Solid Works, AutoCAD and/or Excel.
Ensure proper vendor management inclusive of inventory and license management, evaluation of existing software/tools/versions and development and evaluation of future solutions.
Coordinate closely with IT for systems maintenance and data security including server standards, capacity, daily system backups while ensuring shared and individual hardware requirements are satisfied.
Perform other job related duties as assigned by management.
## Qualifications
Education:
BS degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Position Requirements:
Ten (10) plus years related work experience including Solid Works.
Demonstrated extensive computer skills including IT and network management.
High level of technical knowledge to be able to understand processes currently used at TMLS.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute action plans.
Ability to work proficiently on a cross functional team to achieve project goals.
Computer oriented with AutoCAD and SolidWorks knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to strive for excellence while working in a fast paced environment.
Must be a self starter.
Must be a quick learner, able to understand various product functions in relatively limited time.
Very strong PC skills required including proficiency with MS Office.
Good communication skills (verbal and written) required.
Familiarity with Visual Basic a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
