As our Footwear Developer I, you''ll provide project and process management within NIKEiD Footwear Product Development at an intermediate level. In this uniquely dynamic and fast paced e-commerce environment, you will be driving the product process that enables NIKEiD to launch new seasonally relevant and compelling premium customizable products and digital experiences bi-weekly. You''ll be responsible for converting a project brief into 3D samples, and provide insight in crafting the digital experience that meets the needs of the team and the consumer. In addition, you''ll engage appropriately in all phases of the NIKEiD product process and collaborate with inline categories to ensure all projects are completed on time, are manufacturable, successfully commercialized, proven and tested, and meet design intent as well as performance, profitability, and sustainability goals. A large portion of this job will be focused on our BESPOKE program (custom made product designed at our studios) and will work closely with our retail design staff as well as our Bespoke center of excellence located in Taiwan. 470110
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include: - Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial Design, Engineering or a related field - 4 years'' relevant work experience in lieu of a degree - 2 years'' experience in product creation (e.g., development, product engineering, pricing, production, marketing, product creation training and development and/or R&D; services) - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Clear understanding and solid working knowledge of the tools that support the footwear product creation process in the areas of upper patterns, bottom tooling and manufacturing - Demonstrated development and project management skills - Ability to clearly articulate policies and instructions - Demonstrated skills in problem solving and results orientation - Ability to carry sample bags weighing up to 50 lbs - Ability to travel up to 15% of the time - 1 year Nike product development experience is preferred
