Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianHours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (or as needed)

Area of Expertise: Performs installation, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining various machines and equipment pertinent to manufacturing and the plant in the most effective manor, utilizing personal skills, team work and department supervision.

Typical Roles/Area of Focus:
Incumbent performs the following activities:

Must have formal E,H&S experience in a large manufacturing organization
Utilize various types of electronic and electrical testing equipment, meters, gages, hand tools, schematics, blueprints, and materials necessary to perform all types of installation and repairs.
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain various complicated, electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits on CNC, NC, semi-automatic and manual machines, all of which have a different and specialized set of controls.
Electrical and Mechanical maintenance skills a must
Install, troubleshoot (utilize testing equipment i.e.; meters) and repair all plant electrical (120V, 240V, 480V - single phase & three phase), mechanical and plumbing construction
Maintain work order of the test facilities
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion
Execute facility / process modification plans
Have executed and designed Preventative Maintenance Program
Work with 3rd Party vendors for certain repairs
Perform some lifting (max 35 pounds unaided), pulling and working in various positions
Operate fork and lift trucks - will be trained and licensed
Valid driver's license - on occasion will have to drive to pick up material
Daily interaction with management and EH&S
Follow all safety rules and integrate into all work, wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by task, Lock Out / Tag Out, Confined Space certification, Hot Work permits, Elevated platforms, Arcflash, RCRA, HAZOP, HASOP & RCRA - training to be provided.
Excellent communication skills
Team player who works well with others

Typical Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate with 4-7
years experience with electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic machinery and equipment. Specialized training in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment such as college, trade school, apprenticeship or service-company, required

-Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
-Attend scheduled EH&S training programs
-Actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans
-Recommend improved EH&S practicesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
