Job Duties: Ensure optimum information access, server infrastructure performance, and integrity. Ensure consistency and synchronization across EMCs server platform and integrate other infrastructure components. Lead computing infrastructure design and work closely with architects on project design and technical direction. Analyze data critical to capacity forecasting, asset management, and procurement; use data to assist IT managers and senior management with planning and reporting. Maintain the logical access controls for user access and authorizations within EMCs enterprise resource planning environment. Interact and maintain relationships with IT staff, business representatives, and the internal audit team. Contribute to the information security function in ongoing operational activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of business information, in compliance with the organization's information security policies.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Foreign equivalent degrees are accepted. In addition to degree, must have at least five years of post-degree progressive experience involving all of the following: administering SAP applications in a HP-UX and Oracle environment including configuring, analyzing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting ABAP and Java stacks; architecting, developing, and managing SAP systems, policies, practices, standards, and directions; planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to protect data, software and hardware; assisting in the integration of SAP software with other enterprise applications, as well as review SAP GRC access controls and access administration requirements; creating functionality using Java, J2EE, JSP, PL/SQL, and related tools; integrating SAP applications and test, develop enhancements and modifications, and report findings to management; developing and conducting user training, communicating complex security requirements procedures, and providing technical documentation, as needed.
