Job Description: SRA is seeking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer - Windows / Web Administrator who will be responsible for deploying, optimizing, and maintaining critical MS Windows based web and application systems to ensure maximum uptime, security and efficient operation. This full-time job opportunity will be located in Rockville, Maryland and will be supporting our customer, NCI (National Cancer Institute).Job
Responsibilities:The primary duties of the Windows/Web Administrator are to perform daily management of NCI's application hosting environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working on a team and will find satisfying the challenges and opportunities of a fast paced customer-oriented environment.
Configure and support the day-to-day system management tasks such as trouble-shooting, backup management and performance tuning.
Maintain system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements.
Install and maintain Plug-ins, Feature, Web parts, Templates and custom software.
Identify hardware and software platform issues and work with System Admins to implement proper patches and updates.
Support performance tuning and recommend performance improvements.
Monitor and support third party services, applications (web services, client applications) and other service provider data interfaces.
Perform daily management of hosted applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance problems and issues.
Planning, development and implementation of application upgrades.
Document procedures used for hosted application administration.
Maintains system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements for SharePoint and other Web based applications.
Monitor and support third party services, applications (web services, client applications) and other service provider data interfaces.
Performance tuning and recommend performance improvements.
Develops and implements risk and opportunity management plans, identifies risks, assesses risks, develops mitigation plans, and tracks risks.
Identifies program objectives and technical development strategy; prepares System Engineering Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structures, master schedules, and key performance parameters.
Collects, analyzes, tracks, and reports program metrics.
Acts as a mentor to junior team members.
Manages customer and stakeholder needs, generates and develops requirements, and performs functional analysis.Weekly Hours: 40

Qualifications:
ITIL foundations certification or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months of starting
Bachelor's Degree and 6
years or equivalent work experience (preferably 8-10 years of related experience, including 3-5 years hands-on working experience in web application management)
Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IIS V6 and V7.5
Expert knowledge of Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 operating systems
Web and web applications administration experience
Experience in administering SSL certificates for web servers (creating, applying, troubleshooting) hosted under IIS, Apache, Tomcat
Windows Server 2008-2012 design and configuration
Advanced Microsoft IIS 7-8 design and configuration
2.0-4.5 configuration troubleshooting (development/coding experience not required)
Familiarity with HTTP, DNS, Internet Protocol, and the OSI Model
Familiarity with Windows performance monitoring and event logging tools
Experience with secure, tiered application hosting environmentsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
