This position is currently eligible for a telework and/or compressed workweek arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes, and remains subject to change.
What You''ll Do
At John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) in Urbandale, IA as a _Technical Product Manager_ you will define product strategy and product roadmaps for wireless data transfer solutions between GreenStar and non-John Deere displays, and the MyJohnDeere Operations Center, where growers and their trusted advisors will utilize timely and appropriate data in applications that help the grower manage their operations. In addition, you will:
Develop functional requirements wireless data transfer solutions between GreenStar and non-John Deere displays, and the MyJohnDeere Operations Center.
Work with User Experience (UX) experts to define and validate the product experience.
Work with development to guide build activities and assist in the final validation of the applications.
Review existing market research to document required features for product solutions.
Support the creation of project charters for product and service solutions and development projects to validate spend and return for projects.
Identify product value proposition assumptions and evaluate their accuracy; including in-field quantification and qualification.
Work cross-functionally to develop and execute product and service solution channel support, order fulfillment and go to market strategies and tactics.

Ideally, you will have a Degree in Agricultural Sciences / Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related career field. In addition we require:

years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Agricultural Sciences / Technology, Information Technology or Engineering.
Experiences utilizing Information Technology in production agriculture
Experience defining and tailoring business process flows, including the ability to display or lay-out workflow related to customers and the sales channel
Experience building value propositions for information-based services
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%, both domestic & international.
A strong candidate will also have:
Experience with web and mobile technologies in agriculture.
Understanding of John Deere channel support software tools and processes such as Stellar Support, JD Point or JD Quote.
