We are looking for an experienced Production Planner/Production Scheduler for a central MI located metal machining manufacturer in the Automotive Products space.
#### What You Will Be Doing
The ideally qualified candidate will take on the following
Responsibilities:
Review of incoming mail and activities relating to changes of delivery dates, volumes, new orders and customer specific changes
Organization, execution, verification and evaluation of annual inventory as assigned
Raw material cycle counts and inventory control
Planning and scheduling of production and assembly sequences (Utilizing SAP modules MM & PP), the elaboration of tooling plans, NC programs in the automotive field.
Responsible for coordinating outsourcing processes
Induce continuous improvement processes
Prepare lists and purchase orders to obtain required material, tools, and equipment
Communicate with production personnel, purchasing department, and supervisors on material status and production planning issues
Cycle counts
Maintain all environmental, health, and safety requirements (OSHA, NFPA, DEQ)
Establish & Control WIP and Finish Goods Inventory levels consistent with Plant Goals & Objectives
CAPA system & existing machine capacity
#### What You Need for this Position
The ideally qualified candidate will bring to the position the following:
Were in need of an experienced professional with at least 2-3
years of direct/hands-on experience using SAP, specifically modules MM & PP in a Planning/Scheduling role in a manufacturing environment.
If you have this required experience, along with a minimum Associates Degree, or a desired Bachelor degree, along with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience required.
