Our non-profit Client, located near Santa Ana, CA is seeking career-minded individuals for their Supervisor of IS Security & Systems Administration position. This is a Full Time position.
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
Supervise a multi-tiered Systems & Security Administration team (currently 12 staff) to complete day-to-day provisioning requests, resolve problems for system access and participate in enterprise IS projects.
Lead team to work with various internal and external auditors for reviews and as necessary, mitigate findings.
Supervisor must handle daily escalations, consult with business unit representatives and IS managers as needed to ensure service levels are met; establish and measure performance levels to key performance indicators.
Responsible for on-going staff development, including training plans.
Coach and mentor staff and monitor for quality of work.
Participate in various projects (including G&O and business unit goals) to represent SA processes and requirements.
Continuously review SA best practices, processes, procedures and drive improvement.
Enforce and adhere to, and participate in implementing company security standards/practices.
Work as a collaborative team member of IS management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidates have the following
Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 years experience in a supervisory position, preferably in IT security and/or customer service.
Must have experience developing and enforcing staff performance metrics and must be service oriented with strong employee development skills.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Must have demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and provide guidance to staff members.
Business degree in computer science or other related study desired.
