JOB DUTIES: Develop reliable, efficient, and maintainable McAfee CMSB Data Warehouse and ETL solutions. Perform Informatica installation, upgrades, and administration. Perform analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of programs and applications for the Data Warehouse and ETL processes. Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and supportable Data Warehouse solutions which function within system architecture. Define, develop, and document ETL design, including process flow, data flow, source -to-target mappings, physical database designs, and data models. Perform detailed source-system analysis, source-to-target data analysis, data profiling, data cleansing, data quality validation, data testing, and transformation analysis. Design and build data mappings from multiple source systems to data warehouse, maintaining source data integrity. Develop batch and real time ETL applications using Informatica to populate the data warehouse. Participate in the full development cycle, end to end from design, implementation, documentation, testing, and maintenance. Develop ETL solutions using Informatica to fetch data from external source systems such as files, or Hadoop to populate the data warehouse. Develop Business Intelligence reports using Microstrategy 9.3 tools.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server and Informatica;
2. Data warehouse-related architecture, design, and production procedures, job scheduling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and workflow development;
3. Data profiling, data cleansing, data quality validation, and data testing;
4. Relational and dimensional databases
5. Data warehousing and VLDB (over 5 TB);
6. Business intelligence methodologies and architectures; and
7. Use of source control tools.
