CT office or Telework, with any location in the east.POSITION SUMMARYThe Accountable Care Solutions (ACS) team at Aetna is hiring an Engagement Consultant into its Field Operations team in the East Region. ACS is a fast-paced, high growth division of Aetna s Healthagen division. The department builds partnerships with provider organizations through innovative insurance reimbursement models and redesigned care delivery programs and technology solutions focused on population health management. ACS is redefining how payers and providers work together to achieve the triple aims of improved patient experience, improved quality of care, and lower cost of care per capita.The Engagement Consultant will report into the Field Operations arm of ACS and will work on several deals focusing on the end-to-end process of launching new Aetna Whole Health insurance products. The Engagement Consultant will support Senior Engagement Managers to implement the ACOs. Key responsibilities will include:- Supporting the development of multiple ACOs- Leading and working on highly collaborative and high performing teams comprised of cross-functional Aetna and client resources- Coordinating Aetna resources needed to launch the ACO insurance products. This will include working closely with leadership and staff from Product, Distribution, Marketing, Actuarial, Local Market, and Local Network teams, amongst others- Articulating the local market particularities that will define and impact the product portfolio- Defining the requirements needed for successful product launches, from product development through sales- Building repeatable and scalable processes that can be added to the team knowledge library and leveraged for future clientsEngagement Consultants should demonstrate key skills in the following areas:-5
years health insurance experience focused on designing, developing and launching health insurance products,.- Project management: Managing complex projects and implementations, including building and managing project plans, negotiating for resources, and meeting project milestones- Prioritization: Juggling multiple projects - Attention to detail- Ability to work on cross-functional teams and ability to lead without direct authority- Understanding of client needs and ability to resolve issues and develop alternative plans- Communications: Clear and succinct written and communications, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel- Ability to learn quicklyEngagement Consultants should have knowledge of:- Health care reform, specifically accountable care organizations- Health insurance products and operations- Health care provider organizationsEducation: The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master''s degree.BR>Please note that benefit eligibility may vary by position.
