Responsible for the insurance billing process between the hospital and insurance companies, federal agencies and third party payers. Contacts patients/insurance companies to collect unpaid insurance claims. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) Activities.
Prior experience as a billing clerk is preferred as well as basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
