Responsibilities:
- In this role you will be doing development and configuration of business applications.
- Work with users to know requirements and provide input to departments being an IT liaison and helping to improve system efficiency, security, and functionality.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve potential and evident system problems.
- Design and apply new methods and procedures as they are found to be beneficial to the business.
- Develop and test systems, programs, and database structure for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare systems specifications, project plans, and other internal documents.
- Ensure users and partners understand nature of work being performed, as well as timeframes and milestones.
- Provide regular status updates to supervisors and stakeholders.
- Balance high-priority work with lower priority maintenance work to ensure success of all projects and smooth operation of existing functions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for system and process improvements. Work with management and stakeholders to prioritize and implement solutions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Three plus years of large business application systems development and analysis work with billing and quoting systems within a healthcare enterprise a big plus
- Requires ability to define and prioritize problems and manage workload without direct supervision.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts and languages quickly.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
