Seeking a Javascript developer to join the E-Learning Programming & Development team. We're looking for a self-motivated, innovative programmer who's excited about leveraging new technology to improve existing enterprise systems, isn't afraid of tight deadlines, thrives on contributing to a team environment, as well as comfortable in a traditional corporate workplace.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of front-end Javascript programming experience with a bachelor's degree or related work experience.
This position will work in our Bellevue, WA location.
Responsibilities
o Dissect various e-learning and mobile challenges and provide creative and innovative technical solutions.
o Work with IT partners to evaluate, gather requirements for, and implement new web technologies in-house.
o Support development of the Learning Album platform using Node.js and Backbone.js.
o Ensure all E-Learning content is accessible on mobile devices.
o Work with and support external E-Learning vendors to ensure 3rd party training is mobile ready.
o Troubleshoot system and end-user issues to determine the root cause of the problem and define mitigation steps.
o Work with cross-functional teams to implement content and learning management solutions in information sharing application platforms.
o Define, execute and automate workflows for deploying, updating and bug-fixing a variety of online training content.
Qualifications
o Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex technical information in simple terms.
o Experience with Node.js, Express.js, Backbone.js and MySQL/NoSQL databases.
o Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
o A strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and browser technology.
o Knowledge of Git version control, test driven development and code reviews.
o Knowledge of SCORM and AICC e-learning protocols.
o Minimum of 2 years of front-end Javascript programming experience.
o Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
