B-787 Model Based Definition and standards
Experience in CATIA V5 is mandatory.
Experience in ENOVIA is highly recommended.
Experience in PDM (PLM) and SMARTEAM is a benefit.
Experience in MRB Engineering is a benefit.
Minimum 8
years experience in the Aerospace industry (landing gear or structures preferred).
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task and meet schedule demands.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Investigate engineering design problems and propose optimal solution
Work on design improvements and cost reduction projects
Coordinate and work with supplier, Manufacturing engineers and Stress, peers etc
Release engineering Design
Perform the following activities:
o Provide Design Engineering support for Landing Gear in-service & new design activities
o Produce CATIA V5 detail and assembly Model Based Definition (MDB) drawings
o Provide technical review/disposition of Cost reduction, design improvement, error correction, etc. change requests
o Liaise with external suppliers/customers on Design Engineering topics
o Liaise with other supplier/client sites and functions on Design Engineering topics
o Provide MRB support for 787 EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
