Intellect Learning Center, founded in 2010, is a fast-growing tutoring center in Orland Park. Our Expert Tutors help students develop strong foundational skills and gain confidence. We specialize in tutoring for grades K-12. Our mission is to educate, motivate, and inspire our students.
The programs we offer include:
-Reading, math, science, Spanish and other major subjects
-ACT Exam Prep
-Study Skills
-Remedial and Enrichment
-Homework help and test preparation
High School Math and Science Tutors
Responsibilities:
-Tutor students in one-to-one and small group settings
-Record student progress
-Apply effective teaching methods to ensure student learning
Qualifications:
-Minimum BA Degree in math, science, or related field
-Superior communication skills
-Strong critical thinking skills
-Tutoring or teaching experience preferred
-Individual must be self-motivated, independent, and committed to excellence
-Must demonstrate strong content knowledge of Algebra I & II and Geometry
-Must demonstrate strong content knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, Physics
-Teaching Certification preferred
