As an entry level
System Administrator
, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of telephony and business applications in a variety of system architectures. You will troubleshoot and resolve tier one system and application issues, provide on-call support, perform after-hour upgrades, and implement changes based on system performance monitoring and statistical analysis. Statistical data will be collected for analysis by utilizing a wide range of monitoring tools, system and application logs, and vendor specific reporting tools.
Qualifications:
3
years of job related experience in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent studies.
Experience in an IT environment with responsibilities inclusive of telephony, business application support, and system administration
Experience in statistical analysis and system monitoring
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Desirable experience includes:
Knowledge/experience working in Linux and Windows server environments
Basic scripting and programming development/maintenance (Bash, Perl, C#, and Java)
Project and time management skills
Technical documentation experience
Cisco CCNA Voice training and/or certification
